We Talk Art is a bi-monthly Zoom presentation for members of the PSWC. Bonnie Zahn Griffith chats with well known artists and others in the art world in an informal virtual setting. These distinguished guests share their stories, processes, tips and more. The series features “live” interviews, so participants may post questions and comments during and after the interview. The link to the Zoom meeting for each session is posted on our Facebook page, and also sent via eBlast to all current PSWC members.

Known for weaving her spiritual nature with the outdoors into her work, Bonnie’s conversation with Kim will give PSWC members an “insider’s” access to this Pastel Laureate’s thoughts on her creative path and the development of her practice. Serving as one of PSWC’s Regional Representatives, Kim values being a part of an artistic community.

Marla Baggetta is a nationally acclaimed artist, a gifted instructor, and a pioneer in the realm of online art education. With a career spanning over three decades, Marla’s artistry has flourished in pastel, oil, and notably, abstract acrylic. In this interview, Bonnie will explore how Marla came to establish remarkable success as an online art instructor, and how she manages to balance an ongoing, successful art practice with teaching.

Earthberry Pastels is a family run pastel company that was started by Anna, her husband and her mother-in-law.  In this interview, we will learn all about how that happened, how the pastels are created, and what’s new with Earthberry pastels.
